Congratulations on being named a 2026 Slaughter Family Arts Awards finalist! Here’s what you need to know about the awards ceremony and more.

 
 

AWARDS CEREMONY!

Sunday, March 29

4:30-5:30PM Mix & Mingle (EXCLUSIVE for finalists only!)
A finalists-only exclusive event with mocktails and light snacks in the Martin Center just off the lobby of the Scott Theatre at Fort Worth Country Day (4200 Country Day Lane, Fort Worth, TX 76109). Parents/families may drop-off and come back for the ceremony or visit with others in the lobby.

5:30PM Awards Ceremony
It’s the main event! Following the Mix & Mingle, head into the Scott Theatre and find your seats in the lower section reserved for finalists! See below for ticket info for families and friends.

After Ceremony: Pick Up Your Scholarship Check!
Finalists and winners!!! After the ceremony concludes, don’t forget to stop by the table in the lobby to get your scholarship check! ($50 for finalists; $300 for winners)

 

CEREMONY TICKETS

  • Finalists who RSVP above will have a free seat! Check in at the finalist table when you arrive.

  • Each finalist also receives 2 complimentary tickets for family or friends. These must be reserved in advance here using the code SFAA2026.

  • Additional tickets for other family members are $10 and available here. Tickets will go on sale to the public on March 1.

  • Tickets are also complimentary for art teachers of finalists! Invite your teacher and tell them to visit https://sfaaawards.org/ceremony and use the code TEACHERS26.

OTHER DETAILS:

  • Event Location & Parking: Getting onto Fort Worth Country Day’s campus can be tricky, as there are multiple entrances and some may be closed the day of the event. We’ve put together some helpful tips and a marked map to make it easy!

  • Dress Code: We’re celebrating! While not required, the suggested dress code is cocktail/formal wear.

  • Speeches: In case you are a winner in your category, please prepare a BRIEF speech of no more than 30-45 seconds.
